Sue announced her departure earlier this year. Turning 60 motivated her to make some changes. “It was time to embrace change,” she said, “and live fearlessly.” But don’t worry, the Corrie door isn’t fully closed. She didn’t leave without a proper farewell. She called Ryan Thomas, who played her on-screen son Jason, and asked him to return for her exit.

Soaps Are Swapping Stars, But Not Sue
