A Journey That Started at Seven

She was recruited to Coronation Street in 2010 aged only seven. At 22 now, shes spent nearly half her life living on the cobbles. She said it was difficult to comprehend its now 15 years since she arrived on the show, sometimes it feels an eternity, and sometimes, not at all.

She thanked the cast shes worked with, particularly her on-screen parents Simon Gregson and Kate Ford, whove made a lasting impact on her life outside of work. Elle also praised Bill Roache, who plays her grandfather Ken Barlow. She claimed they‘d spent 15 years together and her co-stars were more like family to her than work colleagues.

Staying Put — for Now in Coronation Street

In a recent Mirror interview, Elle assured that shes not about to quit Corrie anytime soon. She added that shes loving the job more than ever and will remain as long as the show desires her.

She even joked that she would attempt to surpass Bill Roaches 65-year career. That might be a tall ask, but she added that shes still young enough to give it a go. She complimented Roache on his run and remarked that it must be incredible to have played so many stories and worked with so many individuals throughout the years.

A Jungle Adventure Someday?

Although Elle’s sticking with Corrie, she’s open to reality TV, especially I’m a Celebrity… Get Me Out of Here!. She mentioned that Simon Gregson and Bev Callard, who played her dad and gran, both did the show, so it feels like a family tradition.
