Sheila also worked with big entertainers of that time. The actress had an amazing career. Fans who have watched the soap through the 70s remember Sheila best as Sister Delaney. Moreover, the July 1973 storyline was one of the most intense storylines of her tenure. It was the “Sleeping Beauty” track. It began when Elsie Tanner went to London to visit her son Dennis.
She later forgot her purse on a park bench. When she went back to get it, a vehicle hit her. She was taken to the hospital with a fractured skull and a concussion. That was when nurse Sister Delaney and her team became involved. And as a result of her being nameless, they named her Sleeping Beauty.
