DOM DEAD? Coronation Street: Jenny Convinced Scammer’s ‘Death’ Is Another Con

By Roy

Coronation Street is about to deliver a chilling twist, with Jenny Connor right at the heart of the drama. Trouble stirs when familiar faces resurface, suspicions rise, and one shocking funeral sets the stage for chaos. But Jenny has her own theory and she’s ready to put it to the test.

George’s Search for Love and a Surprise Visitor

George Shuttleworth has turned to online dating in search of a companion. His hopeful outlook has Jenny watching closely, worried he might be a little too trusting when it comes to the women he meets. Some might say she’s being protective, but Glenda Shuttleworth wonders if there’s a flicker of jealousy under Jenny’s concern. Glenda does her best to reassure Jenny, but the conversation comes to an abrupt end when Christina Boyd suddenly strides into The Rovers.

CS/ George sympathises Christina

Glenda asks to see George, and Jenny immediately feels the past rushing back. Viewers last saw Daisy Midgeley’s scheming mum being hauled out of Weatherfield by Kit Green, after her plot to ruin Jenny’s life was finally exposed. Christina had been conspiring with her secret lover Dom, who catfished Jenny by posing as a mysterious admirer. The devious duo almost made off with Jenny’s hard-earned cash, but their downfall came just in time.

Coronation Street: Jenny Suspects a Con

Now, Christina claims everything has changed. She tells George that Dom has recently died, and she wants him to oversee the arrangements for his funeral. While Christina puts on a grieving face, Jenny refuses to buy it. She quietly shares her suspicions with Glenda and Brian Packham, insisting this is just another elaborate scheme. Jenny believes Christina and Dom have cooked up the ultimate scam to fleece George, whose good heart makes him a soft target.

CS/ Jenny goes against Christina

An insider explained that Jenny recognised all the tell-tale signs of one of Christina and Dom’s scams. According to them, Jenny was convinced this storyline had the fingerprints of the duplicitous pair all over it, and she knew just how far they were willing to go. Her unease only grows when she later discusses the matter with Steve McDonald. He drops a piece of information that makes Jenny even more certain George is about to be conned.

Coronation Street: Jenny Storms the Funeral Parlour

Jenny marches into the funeral parlour, barging into George and Christina’s meeting. She doesn’t hold back, warning George that Christina has tricked him and that Dom’s death is nothing but a sham. Jenny insists her friend is being played for a fool. Fuelled by certainty, Jenny takes things one step further. She goes straight to Dom’s coffin and pulls back the lid, convinced that it’s empty.

CS/ Jenny is shocked

A Corrie source revealed Jenny was so sure Dom wasn’t really dead that she wanted George to see with his own eyes. The moment shocks everyone as Christina gasps in horror, but Jenny’s mission is clear. Will she find an empty box and prove herself right? Or has Christina actually been telling the truth all along?

If Jenny has called it correctly, she’ll have saved George from yet another scam by the most cunning duo on the Street. But if she’s wrong, she may have just crossed a line that can’t be smoothed over. Jenny’s fierce protectiveness shows just how much she cares about George, but it also reveals how far she’s willing to go to expose a lie.
