Coronation Street fans are still reeling from Joel Deering’s death on the ITV sudser. While the wicked lawyer did not have many fans, the actor who portrayed him, certainly did! Calum Lill is being sorely missed by the fans. His portrayal of Joel was absolutely stunning. Unfortunately, that ship has long sailed, and Joel is very much dead on-screen.
Kit Green has been investigating the murder and has already worked up quite a long list of suspects. Starting from Lauren Bolton to Dee Dee to Dee Dee’s brother. But that’s exactly where he seems to have made a mistake! In one of the recent Coronation Street episodes, Kit was seen working on his suspect list in the back room of the Rovers Return.
The police officer was trying to figure out where Dee-Dee’s brother Michael Bailey was on the night when Joel went missing. He then added Michael’s name to his list of suspects. Unfortunately, he spelled the name wrong, and eagle-eyed fans immediately took note of it. In a hilarious series of comments, fans pulled Kit Green’s leg on social media.
“Always thought Kit was a wrong ‘Un, but now it turns out he’s one of those people who can’t spell Michael properly. Well, that just seals it,” a fan poked fun. Another added that “Kit had spelled Michael Bailey’s name incorrectly on that list.” While a third fan joined the chat to point out that Kit wrote everything in all caps. “Who casually writes in all caps? Very suspicious,” they wondered.
Well, for the investigation’s sake, we hope that Kit Green’s deductive skills are better than his grammar and spelling. After all, he now has the reigns of the case in his hands entirely. DS Swain was taken off the case when it was discovered that Joel Deering left threatening messages about her daughter on her phone. Can Kit solve this case on his own?
