Kit Green is a corrupt and absolutely ruthless police officer on Coronation Street, who has zero qualms about misusing his power and authority to intimidate other characters. The recent episodes have exposed his true colours to the viewers. However, many of the Corrie mainstays are still unaware of his real intentions.
In a recent chat with the media, the Kit Green actor – Jacob Roberts laughed “I’m picking up the scripts like is this my last one.” He teased that his exposé might not be too far away. Viewers know that he recently showed his evil side when he targeted Craig and Beth Tinker. In fact, he twisted Beth’s arm into leaving Cobbles, after she discovered the part he was playing in selling duplicate t-shirts.
Coronation Street spoilers recall that Kit blackmailed Beth into leaving town by threatening to explode Craig’s career. Even since then, fans have been speculating that it would be Craig who ultimately brings Kit down. But that may not be the case. Jacob Roberts teased that another Corrie character is poised to expose Kit Green.
In a recent chat with The Mirror, Jacob revealed that it could actually be Daniel Osbourne who ultimately exposes Kit. Previously, Daniel has been very vocal about not trusting Kit. In fact, he even came dangerously close to figuring out why Beth left so suddenly. “He’s suspicious of him and that would be nice to play. He’s quite confident that Craig will never find out and he’s got so much on him that he could get him sacked,” Jacob pointed.
The seasoned actor also pointed out that Kit has a lot of drama coming up with Swain and Daisy. Furthermore, Jacob teased that the upcoming storyline will actually reveal a “softer side” of otherwise wicked Kit. But will that be enough to absolve him from everything he has done thus far?
