Harry also mentioned how the two first met on Howard’s Way back in the 80s. Also, they remained friends even after leaving London. He talked about Peter spending time in Spain with his partner, Mick Cawson.

Peter Rose was one of those directors who didn’t stick to one genre. He got his first big credit on Howard’s Way in 1989. After that, he worked across Family Affairs, Crossroads and Holby City for years.
He also directed a chunk of Brookside between 1996 and 2002. After this, he moved to London to work on EastEnders from 2003 to 2010. Then Corrie became a big part of his life. He directed his first episode in 2011. And since then, he has done more than 100 episodes. Also, one of those turned into an iconic Corrie moment.
