Lisa’s Last Attempt To Win Her Back
Lisa isnt ready to let go. She has been struggling ever since the breakup. And in the upcoming episode, she reaches her limit. The woman sends Carla an old-school love letter. And she hoped that things would soften things between them. Elsewhere, Ryan is the one who hands it over at the hotel. And at that moment, Carla was preparing for an important client meeting.
Lisa had asked Carla to meet her at the bistro as she wanted to speak things out. However, Carla never confirmed and never replied. Elsewhere, Lisa was waiting there alone, drinking, texting and getting more upset by the minute. And Carla had switched off her phone during the meeting. So none of Lisa’s messages reached her.
Lisa feels ignored, and she storms out of the bistro. She later heads to the Chariot Square Hotel. She’s drunk, emotional and also ready to confront Carla in front of everyone. Elsewhere, she calls Carla her “soul mate” and says she can’t lose her. However, later she calls Carla’s clients “baldies”. She even crashes the meeting and falls sick on the hotel floor.
Elsewhere, Ryan jumps in to pull her away. He tries to limit the damage. And Carla apologises to the clients and cuts the meeting short. However, she is annoyed and shocked by the whole situation.
Carla Goes Back To Her Anyway In Coronation Street
Despite all the chaos, Lisa’s outburst affects something in Carla. Then, later in the episode, she returns home. However, she finds Lisa half-asleep on the sofa. And she is still embarrassed and confused about whatever happened. Carla sits with her and calms her down. Elsewhere, Lisa mumbles that she thought that Carla was gone for good.
However, Carla admits that she was being too stubborn. And when Lisa called her clients “baldies”, it reminded her of everything she loves about Lisa. It was her honesty, her blunt humour, her ridiculous timing and all of it. Later, Lisa tells her she loves her so much.
