Lisa Tries To Win Back Carla As New Lead Emerges
The week opens with a heartbroken Lisa doing everything she can to convince Carla Connor that she is still the only woman for her. She hopes Carla will believe that she means every word, despite the heartbreak that has unfolded between them. Soon after, Lisa brings Becky surprising news, explaining that her colleagues might have tracked down the man responsible for Costello’s attack.
She even provides a name, revealing that the suspect goes by “Soap.” Becky plays innocent and pretends she has never heard of him, though her next move suggests otherwise. She secretly meets Soap to retrieve both Costello’s burner phone and his personal mobile, hoping to wipe away anything that could implicate her. However, their exchange nearly unravels when police sirens suddenly blare nearby, forcing them to panic before officers get too close.
Becky Attempts To Silence Costello For Good
Later in the week, Lisa informs Becky that doctors plan to rouse Costello from his coma. Realising that her window is closing, Becky heads straight to Weatherfield General and waits until she is alone with him. She prepares a syringe she hopes will kill him, determined to stop him from ever speaking. A Corrie insider explained that Becky clearly intended to bump off Costello to make her life easier.
They added that the thought of what she might try next was chilling and that they hoped Lisa would catch her in the act. But before Becky can carry out the injection, Costello unexpectedly regains consciousness, leaving her shocked and momentarily frozen. Moments later, Lisa walks into the hospital room without warning, unaware that she has stepped into something far darker than she imagined.
Kit Raises Suspicions in Coronation Street
As the week continues, Kit Green reveals to Carla that he feels certain Becky was involved in Costello’s attack. However, without the phone, he admits that proving anything will be an uphill battle. Meanwhile, Becky spends more time at the hospital and strikes up a conversation with Costello’s daughter, who mentions her birth date. After gaining the girl’s trust, Becky watches as she opens Costello’s iPad to show holiday photos.
An insider noted that Becky’s intelligence makes her dangerous and explained that while the youngster shared her pictures, Becky made sure to memorise the password. The question now is what she plans to do with that access. Elsewhere, Kit updates Lisa that the police have finally located Costello’s phone.
