Luca Toolan’s character Mason Radcliffe has taken a U-turn on Coronation Street and Toolan is baring it all. The character started the year on a villainous note where he bullied Liam Connor, but now, the character has flipped.
He is all set to help DS Lisa Swain to take down his villainous brothers. Not only that, he has built some lovely relationships with other cobbles residents. Keep reading to find out more about all that’s happening.
Coronation Street Star Luca Toolan Gives An Inside Perspective
Speaking about his character and how things are changing on Coronation Street, Luca Toolan says that Mason is just trying to right all the wrongs. He likes Betsy and for her, he wants to prove it to everyone that he has changed. He knows he is getting on the wrong side of his brothers, but he really wants to right everything.
Mason has a job offer in Germany and he wants to clear his conscience before he goes. While Toolan wants Mason to continue staying in Weatherfield, he is open to the director’s vision too. Toolan feels that this move feels a little forced to him but there is excitement with this storyline too. Moreover, Mason has established a relationship with Sally, Tim and Betsy that he does not want to sabotage or let go. So, he is just trying to be a better person.
In the coming episodes, Lisa will dig deeper in into what Mason’s brother’s really did with her late wife and it will all roll out into a big storyline. In the episodes that will air in January, Mason will have to pay for going against his brothers- Matty and Logan. They will stab him when they come to know what he did.
