Former Coronation Street star Lucy-Jo has finally talked about her ex-husband Alan Halsall. The duo started their relationship in 2005 when they played the roles of Katy Harris and Tyrone Dobbs on the ITV soap. Soon, they tied the knot in 2009 and finally welcomed their daughter Sienna-Rae in 2013, and finally concluded their marriage with a divorce in 2018.
Lucy Talks About Her Previous Relationship
During her recent appearance on “Good Morning Britain,” the actress opened up about her relationship status with Alan and how she navigated the stint on I’m a Celebrity… Get Me Out of Here! Now that she is with her new partner, Lewis Devine, it is really awkward for her. She said, “We spoke about what we do in the situation because he’s [Alan’s] away. He’s in Australia. It was important to be there for Sienna, sit down, and watch it with her. It was so she could enjoy it with someone, and the highs and the lows were there for her. So she loved it, really proud. He did great.”
When Alan was in the jungle, rumors claimed that Lucy-Jo would vote for h*im. The actress had to address this as well on her Instagram, where she said, “First of all, my ex and I have been divorced for seven years. I actually can’t believe it’s a topic of conversation because it’s pretty boring now. Besides, we share our daughter’s 50/50 and are constantly communicating. We wish him nothing but the best. We will be there for Sienna to support her through this journey because, yes, she will miss her dad. He’s in her life all the time, so this is quite a strange thing.”
Alan Made His Return on the Cobbles
Alan Halsall, who has played the role of Tyrone Dobbs on the ITV soap since 1998, has wrapped up his appearance in “I’m a Celebrity… Get Me Out of Here!” and is now all geared up to return to the cobbles. While returning from Manchester, he confirmed the news on his Instagram Q&A session, saying, “I will be back to work on Monday. Can’t really wait!”
On his first day of the shoot, the actor’s co-star, Cassie Plummer, shared an Instagram story with him, writing, “He’s back!!! Our winner @coronationstreet @alanhalsall.” She also captioned the picture, “You were brilliant, @alanhalsall.” Later, the actor himself took to Instagram and posted outside Rover’s Return, writing, “Back to doing what I love best.” We can’t wait to see how the actor performs in the upcoming Coronation Street episodes – stay tuned to Soap Opera Daily!
