Kym Marsh Teases Return
Kym Marsh, who played Michelle Connor from 2006 to 2019, recently revealed she would love to return to the soap. The 48-year-old actress left the show over two years ago after Michelle and Vicki Jeffries exposed Robert Preston’s cheating. After Robert died in the Christmas shooting, Michelle felt a lot of guilt.
Now, five years after her exit, the soap star teased a possible comeback. Speaking to The Mirror, she mentioned, “It was left open, very much so, and if the chance and opportunity was to arrive, then I could always return if that was what was wanted.” She indicated there’s always a possibility of returning unless the character was written off.
Marsh expressed deep affection for the show, highlighting that Corrie has always been a significant part of her life. Viewers must recall that Michelle said goodbye after she touched farewell to her son Ryan and Ali Neeson. Since then, the ITV star has been hosting Morning Live with Gethin Jones.
Plus, she lit up the dance floor on Strictly Come Dancing in 2022 with her partner, Graziano Di Prima! What an incredible journey since her Corrie days! However, the pair were eliminated from the competition, and she became the 10th contestant to be booted off.
