Carla and Lisa have been rebuilding their lives after months of heartbreak, trauma, and tension, finally moving towards a future together in Coronation Street. They’ve been talking about getting their own place, leaning on each other through tough moments, and even getting Betsy’s support. But just when it feels like Carla is all in, she secretly sets off on a mission that could break everything they’ve built.
Mason’s Death Still Casts a Shadow
Earlier this year, Mason Radcliffe’s story ended in tragedy when his own brothers, Logan and Matty, stabbed him. Mason had been trying to turn his life around after being punished for bullying Liam Connor, but Logan and Matty pulled him right back into danger, and it cost him everything. Matty was arrested quickly, but Logan went missing until a confrontation with David Platt led to his capture.
At the time, it seemed like justice had finally caught up with the Radcliffe brothers, and the street could breathe again. But Lisa Swain had her own connection to the chaos. Her late wife, Becky, died while under investigation, and questions about Becky’s past have been lingering ever since. Lisa’s been on desk duty and going to therapy, trying to recover from a recent robbery incident that left her doubting herself. Throughout all of it, Carla has stood by her, until now.
Carla’s Secret Prison Visit in Coronation Street
In Monday’s episode, Carla tried to comfort Lisa before therapy, acting like everything was fine. But behind the scenes, she was making arrangements to visit Logan Radcliffe in prison, hoping he might have information about Becky’s death. Michael Bailey accidentally discovered Carla’s plan when he used her computer and spotted a letter about the visit.
He warned her it was a terrible idea and reminded her what Logan had done to Lisa and Betsy. Carla didn’t say much, but later texted Michael to say she was backing out. That turned out to be a lie. New spoilers confirm that Carla goes through with the visit anyway. Even though Lisa once believed Logan might have been involved in Becky’s death, Carla decides to chase answers on her own.
Lisa’s Grief Begins to Surface
As the anniversary of Becky’s death approaches, Lisa skips her therapy session and visits Becky’s grave instead. The grief is still raw, and though she tells Carla and Betsy she’s okay, it’s clear she’s struggling. She eventually opens up to her therapist, Floyd, admitting she’s started to wonder if Becky was hiding something, possibly even involved in something corrupt.
Back at work, Lisa sneaks into DI Costello’s office and checks his emails, searching for anything about Becky. When she spots Kit Green’s name linked to Becky’s file, she’s furious. She later tells Carla she can’t work with Kit anymore, accusing him of going behind her back.
Lisa has no idea that Carla has done the same thing, only worse. Carla’s visit to Logan could blow everything apart. Lisa’s already suspicious, already hurting, and if she finds out what Carla’s done, the fallout could be huge. Meanwhile, Logan’s return is official. Harry Lowbridge, who plays him, confirmed it on Instagram with two words: “NEXT WEEK.” There’s more trouble coming, and it’s already closing in.
