Megan’s Scheme Starts To Work
Sam’s recent struggles began after Megan targeted him for a specific reason; he recognised she had been grooming Will Driscoll. Instead of confronting him directly, she started undermining his confidence, especially at school.
The usually high-achieving student suddenly saw his grades drop. Viewers already know Megan secretly stole Sam’s essay from Daniel Osborne’s marking pile, damaging both his academic record and his self-belief.
She then presented herself as supportive while secretly causing the problem. During the latest episode, Daniel nearly caught Megan talking privately to Will after the teen bought a rugby jersey for their unborn baby.
Seeing Sam watching, Megan quickly distracted Daniel and blamed Sam. She told him, “He’s been acting really weird around me recently… he can’t stand me.” She also claimed she offered homework help, but he rejected it, making her look caring while isolating Sam.

Brooks explained the manipulation will have a “massively detrimental” effect on Sam’s mental health, signalling a serious storyline ahead for the young character.
