If the footage works, he believes he can finally show the adults and stop her manipulation for good. But the plan immediately starts failing. The device refuses to connect, and panic hits him because Megan already warned that nobody would believe him anyway.

Later Megan privately praises Will and tells him he “did really well today.” She invites him over as a reward and says she will tell Daniel she feels unwell. The vodka incident suddenly looks intentional, part of a plan to make Sam unreliable before he can expose her.
By the end, Megan remains in control. She has used Will to isolate Sam, staged situations that make him appear troubled, and ensured every adult trusts her version of events.
