The actor added that it was nice to see someone standing up to Mick. He shared that he had a fantastic experience working with Mikey, as he is a brilliant actor. He enjoyed the builder’s yard scenes. Joe revealed that they worked with the fight director for the specific scenes, as it was a technical process, comparing it to a dance.
The actor also opened up on Mick and Lou’s relationship, calling them childhood sweethearts. However, they have unhealthy attitudes. Their bond is developed from trauma, and it’s crucial to show such relationships on screen. He added that Mick is shocked to discover that Broody may not be his son.
