The sky started to turn pink for Adam Barlow and Alya Nazir earlier this year, per Coronation Street Spoilers. The colleagues began exploring romantic territory once both of them noticed the sparks that were so visibly flying between the two of them. Unfortunately, their romance came to a screeching halt when Alya decide to accept a new work opportunity and moved to Dublin for it.
After spending six long months in Dublin, Alya Nazir has finally returned to Weatherfield. Coronation Street spoilers reveal that as soon as Adam saw Alya back in town, he felt a deep stirring in his heart. Later, he admitted to her that he truly and deeply missed her while she was away. The two then went on to spend some time together as they caught up on lost time. Eventually, their passion took over, and they indulged in a deep, hot kiss!
“I like your company, and I might also fancy the pants off you,” Adam unabashedly told Alya in the December 2, 2024, episode. She didn’t hold back either and agreed that he is “all right as well.” Adam then took on a more serious tone and asserted that he really did want to pursue her and was ready to take it at whatever pace she felt comfortable with. Much to his happiness, she agreed.
A Dating App Blunder!
However, when Adam Barlow went to use the toilet, Alya saw a notification flash on his phone. It said -“match”, thus implying that Adam is on a dating app. Put off by the idea, Alya left the restaurant, leaving Adam baffled. Later, when Yasmeen quizzed her about her outing with Adam, she admitted it went great until she saw the dating app notification. Alya went on to add that she feels Adam is a player.
Later, Adam explains to her that he hasn’t used the app in months and is hardly indulging in any “player-like” activities. Following that, Alya overhears Adam telling Yasmeen that he feels he and Alya are perfect for each other. He even addressed her as smart and beautiful. The words make Alya see things from a different perspective, and she agrees to go on a date with Adam.
