Bill Fellows (Stu Carpenter) is set to leave the cobbles, with his final scenes scheduled to air this October. The actor has wrapped up his time in Weatherfield, but how exactly will Stu make his exit? Coronation Street spoilers suggest it might be linked to the dramatic return of Mason Radcliffe (Luca Toolan). But how will this plot unfold? Keep scrolling to find out!
Is Stu’s Departure Tied to Mason’s Return?
Bill Fellows (Stu Carpenter) will mark the end of his Corrie journey after three years. His last scenes have already been filmed and will air in October. According to reports, the soap star signed a three-year contract and knew from the start this was his plan.
The character’s departure might be linked to Mason Radcliffe’s (Luca Toolan) return. In the latest episodes, despite Mason bullying Liam Connor last year, Stu’s been there for him, even giving him food and a job at Speed Daal. However, this has resulted in troubles for him. Has his exit plot already begun?
Viewers must know that the Speed Daal chef has always been a significant part of the town. He first appeared when Kelly Neelan met him while she was living on the streets. From then on, Stu looked out for Kelly, and they became great friends. Later, she decided to pay him back by ensuring he had a place to stay.
But why was he homeless in the first place? It was because he had been jailed for murder. However, Stu was actually innocent. Charlie, the woman he was seeing, was killed by his own daughter, Bridget. Thankfully, Stu’s name was cleared, and his granddaughter Eliza moved into no. 6 with him and Yasmeen Metcalfe.
Will his exit be as dramatic as his entry? We’ll have to see! Till then, for more Coronation Street spoilers, keep checking Soap Opera Daily! Do you have any suggestions regarding Stu’s big departure? Share in the comments section below!
