Last week, Abi Webster finally ended her marriage with Kevin after having an affair with Carl. Though she resisted at first, after finding out that Kevin was lying about the needed cancer treatment, she fully gave in. Meanwhile, she and Carl have been meeting at the Chariot Hotel. The soap followers know that Tracy Barlow caught them and demanded money. But Carl destroyed her shop and threatened her father, Ken Barlow, to get revenge on Tracy.
Meanwhile, Abi Webster found out that Kevin’s cancer was in remission. Furthermore, when she heard him talking about their future plans, she decided not to stay in the marriage. Abi Webster told him that their relationship was over, but didn’t disclose that she was involved with his brother. Now she is pretending that everything is fine. However, Debbie doesn’t believe her as Abi goes on making excuses. Then Carl Webster arrives. He tries to manipulate his sister. He brings in his sister’s Dementia and tries to convince her that, due to her disease, she forgot about Abi Webster’s previous hotel stay. Though she is close to finding out about her brother’s affair, will she believe him?
