How It All Started
It was New Year’s Eve when the character went out with her partner for some drinks, and the noise started getting too loud for her in the cafe. You have guessed it right – we are talking about none other than our Carla Connor. Recently, she was rushed to the hospital following the noises she heard – ultimately leading to her sudden collapse in her flat.
Roy sensed something major coming in earlier when he saw Carla feeling confused and perturbed by the noise of a barking dog, which was nowhere near. Her condition even worsened when she started having visions. Even after coming back home, she heard someone knocking at the door when it was nobody. When Roy visited her to check in, he found her motionless by the front door and rushed her to the hospital.
Carla’s Major Health-Scare
When Roy took Carla to the hospital, finding her motionless, the doctors initially confirmed symptoms of sepsis. Roy had earlier suspected the same, noticing her symptoms, and now, his suspicions came true. Later, the doctors confirmed that the infection had come from a head wound, and Carla was diagnosed with sepsis. Later, Carla thanked Roy for how he took care of her, and he replied that it was what he had always been best at.
However, when Roy informed Carla that he had failed to contact Lisa, she preferred to leave her in the dark. She is probably in the fear that Lisa might leave her if she came to know about the diagnosis. Soon, she started having second thoughts about their future together as Lisa consistently tried to avoid the relationship topic. That night, when Lisa came home with flowers, she called Carla only to find out she had left the country for a few days.
