Coronation Street spoilers suggest Cassie will be raising some suspicions regarding her involvement in Ken’s life. Earlier, we saw how she reacted when Ken told her he couldn’t afford her. She got desperate and didn’t even think twice before poisoning Ken. Though her intentions were not to hurt him – all she wanted was to keep her job as his carer. But now, she seems to cross the line – are these two up for something more than just a caregiver and caretaker relationship?
Cassie Confides in Ken – Pair Buys Christmas Gifts
With the Christmas bells ringing, it seems like Cassie and Ken are all in to bring cheer to each other. He brings her a plush scarf while she gifts him an album by his favourite composer. Next, we see Cassie out shopping for her family, but she seems stressed. When Ken asks, she confides, saying she has racked up a debt by buying presents for her family. Is she telling the truth? Or is it just one of her ways to get money out of Ken with an emotional pinch?
Later in the week, we see Ken wishing he would see a ballet. Later, he apologizes to Cassie, feeling he is crossing the line. He even clarifies that he is not in the right mood to celebrate Christmas. But maybe Cassie has plans for him, and she wears one of his dressing gowns—Tracy and Steve are stunned to see her like that. But even we are taken by surprise – why is she in his dressing gown? What happened last night?
Cassie Is Playing Games; Tracy Is Suspicious
When Tracy questioned why she was in Ken’s dressing gown, Cassie said she was looking after Ken as Steve had a night shift. To fire up Tracy even more, she even hints at a romantic interest in Ken. But did she tell it just to make Tracy angry? Or are we sensing some real romantic interests here? Later, we even see Cassie praising Ken for his qualities and saying she hardly has any cultural knowledge. What’s her motive behind all these? 
CS/ Tracy doesn’t want Cassie around anymore
However, Tracy’s suspicions do not take a backseat – she even warns Steve that she doesn’t believe in Cassie’s intentions and says that it would be a bad idea for Steve to move out. In the meantime, Tracy asks Cassie about the advance she received on her wages. We even see Tracy asking Amy and Steve to keep an eye on her during the holiday. Though they think Tracy’s suspicions have no substance – we have a hint that she might be right. Let’s just wait for the upcoming Coronation Street spoilers for more drama.
