Tensions are running high on Coronation Street as the cobbles prepare for the much-awaited fire scene of the Platt house. Next week, the flat is going to be on fire, and as per the spoilers, one character is going to face catastrophic consequences. Who could it be? Read on to find out.
Who Is Going To Face The End?
Spoilers confirm that a mysterious hooded figure will be seen in the next week’s episodes. We will see someone pushing a petrol-soaked rag through the letterbox of No. 8. The drama began at Sarah’s birthday celebration in the bistro, where all the Platt family members were present for a beautiful evening.
However, the kids, Hope, Lily, and Sam, sneak back to the house to livestream. But Toyah sees them with matches and rushes over to check-in. Meanwhile, Abi is furious at her for involving social services and confronts her immediately. Caught up in a PTSD episode, Abi ends up knocking up Toyah and making her unconscious. When the fire breaks out, there is no trace of Toyah and the kids, and the family starts to wonder.
The BIG Revelation
Later, it was revealed that it was arson that started the fire. Now, the whole street is answerable to the police for its actions. But there’s no clue what could be behind this yet. Speaking about it, David said, “Knowing that no one is safe and they could come after his whole family, he’s panicked and he’s desperate. He’s trying to think of ways to pay the money back, but it’s a huge lump sum to come up with, and he’s bricking it.”
Later, we see a drunken Leanne wandering on the cobbles. Could she be somehow involved in the fire? After the little fire episode at Nick’s flat where she burned Toyah and Nick’s passport—she is a clear suspect. David could also be a part of this because of his feud with Harvey Gaskell regarding the debt. As the fire spreads out, there is a huge blast— and we can’t help but speculate if everyone will make it out alright.
