Coronation Street spoilers suggest a major showdown between David and Kit as David gets to know about Shona and Kit’s one-night stand. As we already know, Shona and Kit had spent a night at the hotel following a strain between the Platt couple when David tried to cut her contact with her imprisoned son.
But when she came back the next morning, she lied to David and told him that she spent the night at Adam’s. Getting the wrong impression, David started suspecting Shona’s affair with Adam – but in tonight’s episode, the real mystery man’s name will be out.
David’s Plan for Kit
By the second week of 2025, we will see David and Shona’s relationship still going through a rough stretch. However, Sarah soon comes into the scene and suggests David forgive Shona and move on to save their marriage. Meanwhile, we will see Shona calling up Kit with some information about the Radcliffe brothers following their probable attack on Mason, but Kit becomes concerned and asks her to leave the area instead.
Things start to go downhill when Sarah overhears the whole conversation between Kit and Shona and shares everything with David. Even though Sarah intends to point out Shona’s danger near the Radcliffe brothers, David gets the wrong idea and becomes furious again, thinking that Kit has called Shona. We can then expect to see him chase Kit, thinking that the duo has resumed their affair again.
Jack Shares About David’s Plan
Recently, Jack P. Shepherd has shared with Digital Spy that David will react in a very different way to take revenge on Kit. He also hinted that David would somehow have to try to get back on Kit. In fact, Jack added that this time, he will have to figure out a more clever way to do it as he knows he can’t take Kit down physically. He even hints that David will probably play on Kit’s emotions this time and will probably try to manipulate him mentally.
It seems like there are more complexities waiting to unravel in the upcoming New Year episodes for the David-Kit plot. If David’s trick to manipulate Kit mentally comes true, then we can only expect the worst to happen.
