But the sudden stabbing of Mason Radcliffe that Abi witnessed flooded back all her trauma regarding her son, Seb.
Abi tried her best to save Mason by calling an ambulance and also tried to stop his bleeding—but ultimately, Mason couldn’t survive and later passed away at the hospital. The sudden death eventually took a toll on Abi, and she started struggling mentally as it brought back traumatizing memories of Seb’s death. We have seen Abi struggle consistently with her trauma, and in yesterday’s episode, things worsened as she started hallucinating Seb.
In the Wednesday episode, we saw a vision of Seb in the Webster family kitchen as Abi recalled a touching moment the mother-son duo shared before his death in 2021. In the upcoming episodes, we will see Seb feature in more scenes as Abi continues to hallucinate her dead son. This might degrade Abi’s mental condition further, and we don’t know where’s the end to it.
