There’s a storm on Coronation Street next week as Dylan Wilson is back home. But while he’s finally released from the STC, it doesn’t mean his troubles are over. In fact, they may be only starting in .
Brand New… and Strolling Into Danger?
Dylan’s been in jail for months after his part in Mason Radcliffe’s murder. Fans will remember he had a knife with him to the fight that involved Mason getting stabbed to death by his own brothers. In jail, Dylan was also victimized by Brody Michaelis – and now that Brody’s out of prison and living in the area, Sean Tully’s anxious.
Concerned for Dylan’s welfare, Sean confronts Brody’s mother Lou, informing her that Dylan’s release is imminent and demanding Brody keeps his distance.
Attempting to go incognito, Dylan avoids Sean’s Bistro party and prefers a low-key café lunch. But things are tense when Brody appears. Sean tells Dylan he’ll protect him – just for Dylan to say it’s Brody who needs to watch his back. Later on, Dylan stalks Brody into the ginnel.
Back on the street, Sean tells us that college has accepted Dylan back, but the teenager doesn’t look too excited. In the meantime, he witnesses Brody menacing Betsy Swain, angry with her for reporting to police that he’d taken vodka after boasting about it. Dylan leaps in to defend Betsy, but with Brody moving in, it could blow up.
Could Love Be in the Air in Coronation Street?
Let’s not forget, Dylan and Betsy shared a kiss prior to his trial. With Dylan now defending her, is there a fresh romance on the horizon?
Dylan’s out, but his future at the Street is anything but guaranteed. With enemies at hand and emotions in high gear, it’s clear Weatherfield isn’t quite finished testing him yet. Tune in to Soap Opera Daily for all Coronation Street gossip!
