Kym Left The Soap In 2019
Coronation Street character Michelle Connor might appear again in the soap. Michelle last appeared while taking a taxi out of Weatherfield in 2019. She was on the soap for 13 years. She arrived in 2006 and was a part of many gripping storylines, including the swapping of her son at birth, stalking problems, shooting and the death of both her brothers. Her most dramatic plot included the death of her son, Ruair, after going into early labour.
Before her exit, Michelle was a part of the love triangle. She found out that her fiancée, Robert Preston, had gotten another woman, Vicky Jefferies, pregnant. Then Michelle and Vicky came together to get revenge on Robert by framing him for Vicky’s murder. However, things took another turn when Vicky went into labour and Michelle had to deliver the baby. After Robert’s death, Michelle moved back to Ireland.
Fans Suspect Kym’s Comeback!
Coronation Street actor Kym Marsh, who played Michelle Connor in the soap, took to Instagram to share an update. She posted a story revealing she needed to take a holiday after seven weeks of performing in Abigail’s party at the Royal Exchange. She added that the next adventure was about to begin, along with eight smiley emojis.
Meanwhile, soap fans shared their theories about her return on Twitter. One of the fans shared that Michelle Connor is returning to the show, while the other also agreed with them. One of the soap enthusiasts wrote that there were eight emojis in Kym’s post, and there are eight letters in Michelle, so she might be returning. Another viewer wrote they need Michelle like they need air. They also posted a picture of her with Carla Connor.
Elsewhere, when Gillain Walsh, who is the makeup artist in the soap, revealed that Kym would be the special guest, fans also predicted her comeback.
