Brody Attacks Kit After Dramatic Confrontation
Kit Green comes home to discover Brody Michaelis trashing his flat. Brody, fueled by a text from his dad Mick, blames Kit for setting him up.
Kit knows that Mick is a thug, but Brody loses his temper, bashing Kit into a wall before running out with his hood over his head as Bernie Winter and Sarah Platt turn up.
Later, Lisa Swain tells Kit that Bernie provided Brody with an alibi. Enraged, Kit confronts her, ordering her to stay away or face prosecution. Defending her actions, Bernie refers to Brody as family.
Cornered, Kit tells Sarah he once slept with Lou Michaelis, suggested Brody might be his son. Kit then makes Brody an offer: he‘ll dismiss the burglary charge if Brody keeps his nose clean. Brody, baffled, consults Bernie, wanting to understand why she lied on his behalf.
Kit Turns Up the Heat on Mick Behind Bars
Kit isn’t just fighting battles outside, he’s pulling strings behind bars too. Mick Michaelis ends up beaten on the floor of his prison cell, and Kit later tells Sarah that Mick’s court hearing is approaching. He feels certain Mick will plead guilty under pressure.
Lou Michaelis visits Mick and is horrified to see his injuries. Mick confesses that Kit orchestrated the assault and warned him things would only get worse if he didn’t plead guilty.
But Mick defies the threat and pleads not guilty. When Lou shares the update with Brody, he reacts with joy, unaware that Lou has withheld the dangerous reality behind Mick’s defiance.
While all this is going on, Lou loses her job working for Maria Connor and runs into Gary Windass. She confesses she‘s suffered Mick‘s abuse as well. Sympathetic to her, Gary treats her to a drink—but what will Maria do about it?
Jason Grimshaw Returns in Coronation Street
Eileen Grimshaw informs Brian Packham and George Shuttleworth that the painkillers in Julie‘s bloodstream were hers, not Julie‘s. When Brian speaks up, Eileen loses her temper and excludes him from attending the funeral.
George, struggling to help, confides in Todd. At the funeral, Eileen hands Brian a letter from Julie. After reading it, Brian questions her about Julie’s life insurance.
Eileen claims she knew nothing about it. Tracy Barlow suggests Eileen had a motive, leaving her fuming.
At the pub, George declares he wants to marry Eileen. Before she can reply, Jason Grimshaw walks in—leaving everyone stunned.

Ronnie at first agrees, then later changes his mind after discovering that the purchaser has just lost his wife. He deceivesFiona regarding the purchaser’s interest, but Carl catches wind of this.
Carl subsequently employs his new position at Webster‘s garage to take delivery of a dodgy motor from Fiona during the absence of Kevin and Abi. Has he made the business a front for a criminal operation?
