At home, in her flat, her waters break. Rushed to the hospital, Dee-Dee fights in pain while her dad Ed rushes to seek assistance. James is sent a text message that can potentially alter the future of the family, and Dee-Dee informs Alya and Sarah Platt that her illness resulted from preventable medical negligence. She chooses to make a formal complaint. Alya insists that she assist her with the procedure.
Meanwhile, Lauren tells us that Frankie’s surgery was a success, but Dee-Dee’s response is subdued. When Ed appears at the hospital with the baby in hand, Dee-Dee is dismayed by why he’s seized control. Dee-Dee gets ready to head home, but the psychological scars are by no means fully healed.
