Coronation Street: Aadi Prepares to Leave
Dev Alahan is determined to stop his son from walking away and even ropes in Steve McDonald and Mary Taylor to push Aadi and Amy Barlow back together. Despite his efforts, Aadi and Amy decide friendship is the only way forward, leaving Aadi more determined to start afresh in India.
As father and son share an emotional farewell, Asha struggles to cope with the idea of her twin leaving. Her pain becomes clear when she finds herself caught up in her brother’s exit plans, the weight of separation too heavy to ignore. By the following day, Asha is already carrying the heartbreak, but when she’s called out to a car accident as part of her training and recognises Aadi’s car, the situation takes a terrifying turn.
Asha Struggles with Trauma on All Fronts
While Aadi’s exit dominates the family, Asha’s own problems deepen. After a difficult ambulance shift filled with tragedy, hostility, and even racist abuse, she suffers a panic attack. Although Gemma Winter-Brown tries to comfort her, Asha hides the full extent of her struggles from both Aadi and Dev.
Late into the night, Asha records a voice note for her brother, begging him not to leave as she fears she cannot cope without him. But instead of sending it, she spirals into a breakdown. Her turmoil spills into her work at the Bistro, and leads to clashes with Brody Michaelis, warnings from Sienna, and a drunken collapse that forces Lisa Swain to step in. Even then, she finds herself snapping at Dev and lying to colleagues, leaving everyone wondering if she will ever seek the help she so clearly needs.
Coronation Street: Abi Faces a Difficult Decision
Elsewhere, Abi Webster finds herself caught between loyalty to her husband Kevin and a growing bond with Carl Webster. When she suggests starting over in Germany with Carl, he is stunned, but Abi insists she never planned to betray Kevin. Before leaving to meet Kevin and the kids in Mallorca, she assures Carl there won’t be intimacy with her husband.
But Tracy Barlow wastes no time stirring the pot. She claims to Abi that she kissed Carl, and later, she attempts to seduce him herself, even recording the encounter on her phone. When Tracy presses Carl for an afternoon together, the situation threatens to explode, leaving Abi in a position that could destroy her marriage.
Theo Tightens His Grip on Todd
Todd Grimshaw also finds himself in trouble as Theo Silverton’s controlling behaviour grows stronger. When Todd plans to attend Gemma’s birthday drinks in memory of Paul, Theo manipulates him into staying home. Later, Theo witnesses Noah Hedley with a black eye after Gary Windass’s attack. But he uses the moment to play the victim, thanking friends for their support.
Things take a darker turn when Billy tries to warn Theo’s son. But Miles shocks everyone by turning up at Summer’s birthday. Theo escalates further, insists Todd must cut Billy off completely, and leaves Todd trapped between loyalty and fear.
Coronation Street: Carl Draws Brody Deeper into Trouble
Carl Webster steps in to help Brody, when he’s threatened by two lads demanding payment for a stolen car. While his intervention saves Brody from immediate harm, Carl soon leads him down a dangerous path of crime. He suggests they bypass others and take on car theft themselves, but this idea could only lead to disaster.
As Dev voices his concerns about Brody, and Tim and Sally worry about social services, Carl’s choices risk pulling Brody into chaos.
Jenny Clashes with Christina
Finally, Jenny Connor finds herself at odds with Christina Boyd’s unexpected return. Christina claims her partner Dom has died and insists she only wants George Shuttleworth’s help with the funeral arrangements. But Jenny is convinced Christina is up to her old tricks.]
Marching into the Undertakers, Jenny publicly accuses Christina of lying and insists Dom isn’t really dead. She even takes the shocking step of opening the coffin in front of others. Jenny’s bold accusation leaves everyone stunned or has she uncovered a scheme, or has her mistrust pushed her too far?
