Adam suggests that Eva try writing her feelings down to help deal with her guilt. When Alya arrives, Adam hands Eva a jewellery box and asks her to hide Alya’s Christmas present, giving Maggie something else to focus on.
After seeing Eva stash the box, Maggie searches her handbag but only finds a necklace engraved for Alya. When she puts it back, Maggie comes across Eva’s letter and is stunned by what it reveals. Convinced she now knows the truth, Maggie decides to put a plan in motion and invites Adam and Alya over for Christmas dinner.
Will Can’t Hide His Jealousy
Daniel turns up at the Rovers with Bertie, bringing a gift for Megan, and Maggie insists they stay for lunch. Will immediately bristles at Daniel’s presence and struggles to keep his irritation in check.

After the chaos of Christmas Day, Evelyn stumbles upon a horrifying scene in the ginnel. She discovers someone has been attacked and left for dead.

Becky Covers Her Tracks
Lisa feels heartbroken when she gets a message from Carla saying she wants to be removed from the mortgage. Seeing Carla’s latest social media post only makes things worse, as Lisa starts to fear Carla has moved on.

Although James later softens and spends the afternoon with Carl, trouble looms. Abi visits Kevin with Alfie but cuts the visit short to rush back to Carl, unaware that Carl is too distracted by James to notice her repeated calls.
Theo Plans Christmas With Todd
Theo asks Todd if he’s looking forward to Christmas, but Todd quickly changes the subject and starts talking about work instead. He clearly feels brushed off.
Annoyed, Theo later returns home with armfuls of shopping bags and announces he’s invited all their friends over for Christmas dinner, taking matters into his own hands.
Theo Loses His Temper
George, Christina, Summer, and Glenda gather for Christmas dinner with Todd and Theo. When Summer gives Todd tickets to an Andrew Scott retrospective and jokingly says Todd fancies him, Theo struggles to hide his jealousy.
