Next week on Coronation Street from June 2 to 6, 2025, familiar faces wrestle with fresh dilemmas, some involving life-changing choices, others dealing with emotional tension and unresolved feelings. From travel plans to unexpected kisses, and a long-awaited reunion, the cobbles are full of suspense. But who’s saying goodbye… and who might be coming back?
Eileen Grimshaw Gets Ready for Thailand
It all begins with Eileen bringing George and Jason a copy of the Gazette, which has a sensational article connecting them to an insurance fraud. George realizes how much damage this would do to their reputation and talks to Todd, determined to stay one step ahead of the scandal. Suspicion remains over who might have planted the story.
While this is going on, Jason is flirting with Danielle in The Rovers, and she covers her shock when he tells her Todd is his brother. Soon afterwards, Jason makes her an attractive proposition: to up sticks and go to Thailand with him as his business partner. Though interested, she informs him George would never agree, until George shocks her by revealing he’s already arranged a holiday to fly in.
Carl Leans in for a Kiss–Will Abi Give In?
Meanwhile, down the Street, tensions rise at the garage. Tracy plays up to Carl to get a rise out of Steve, but when Carl gets a text from Fiona asking to meet, Abi becomes jealous. She thinks she must be a girlfriend and keeps a close eye on Carl as he flirts with Tracy, obviously lapping up the attention.
Abi warns Tracy that Carl is a player, which prompts Carl to confront Abi. He suggests she has feelings for him, and although Abi firmly denies it, she threatens to tell Kevin if he doesn’t back off. Carl then urges her to be honest with herself and moves in for a kiss. The next day, Carl and Debbie drop by with bacon butties, and Kevin quickly picks up on Abi’s discomfort.
Dylan Confronts Brody in Coronation Street
Lou hears Sean express his worry to him about Brody making trouble now that Dylan’s no longer in the STC while they’re out at No.11. Sean wants to go celebrate with dinner at the Bistro, but Dylan would rather keep things low-key at the café, obviously not in love with all the attention.
The atmosphere becomes charged when Brody appears. Dylan cautions him to tread carefully, and later follows him into the ginnel. Matters boil over once more when Brody bullies Betsy for reporting them to the police, only for Dylan to intervene and defend her. The showdown could be a turning point for Dylan.
Tim’s Secret Plan Shocks Sally
At the Metcalfes’ house, Sally appreciates the calmness that the house finally belongs to them. What she doesn’t know is that secretly Tim has made an appointment to meet with a social worker regarding fostering. When she enters and discovers that the house is tidy and Tim all dressed up, she is shocked, especially when the social worker shows up.
Still shaken, Sally soon discusses her doubts with Glenda, confessing that she’s not certain if foster care is suitable for them. She’s afraid they’re too old to make so significant a commitment. But with Glenda’s encouragement and a different outlook, might Sally change her mind?
Dee-Dee’s Past Comes Back in Coronation Street
Dee-Dee dives back into her work, reassuring her dad that she’s put the past behind her. Now, she is dedicated to making her midwife training better. But when she accepts a new custody case, Ed worries that she isn’t prepared. Dee-Dee informs Daniel that while her family is worried she’ll regret giving baby Laila to James.
But just as she appears calm, events turn emotional. As Dee-Dee and Daniel exit the Bistro, they see James exiting a cab, with baby Laila in his arms. The presence of her daughter once more might awaken emotions Dee-Dee believed she already put behind her.
Debbie Second-Guesses Her Split from Ronnie
Debbie visibly has difficulty counting out her change at the shop. It’s clearly an indicator that the diagnosis of vascular dementia is starting to show. Ronnie picks up on this and volunteers to assist her. But she reacts with agitation, telling him that she doesn’t need help and can do it by herself.
The following day, Ronnie assists Leanne by providing her with a drill. And as she leaves, he glances up to notice Debbie observing him across the yard. It’s obvious that Debbie is trying to be brave. But catching sight of Ronnie again might prompt her to wonder if walking away was a good idea.
