Eva’s Grand Return Stirs the Pot
The week begins with a surprise that sends shockwaves through the cobbles. Eva Price returns to Weatherfield, her comeback marked by a grand gesture from partner Ben Driscoll, who unveils the Rovers Return as her new gift. While Eva’s touched, not everyone’s celebrating.

Maria Connor is left horrified to see her old rival back in town, and it’s clear there’s tension brewing between them. Eva, determined to reunite her fractured family, convinces her sister Leanne Battersby to fetch Toyah so they can clear the air over drinks. But the reunion goes sideways when Leanne walks into the Bistro, just in time to see her ex, Nick Tilsley, down on one knee proposing to Toyah.
Coronation Street: Tension Among Sisters
Eva takes charge after the explosive proposal scene, locking the Rovers’ doors to make Leanne and Toyah face their issues head-on. But just as things start to calm, Ben’s mother, Maggie Driscoll, arrives with her own plans, she’s moving in. Eva’s excitement over the Halloween party fades fast when Maggie announces that while Eva might be landlady, she’s still the boss.

To make matters worse, Adam Barlow shows up at the party, and Eva mistakes him for Ben thanks to their matching vampire costumes. She throws her arms around him, and though Ben laughs off the mix-up, Maggie’s suspicious glare says it all. As whispers spread about Eva’s past, Maggie seems ready to stir trouble between her and Ben.

Lisa tells Roy Cropper she’s moved on and looks forward to Carla Connor’s return but Carla’s arrival only makes things messier. Becky drops the bombshell that she’s been staying over, leaving Carla rattled.

When Carla later spots a video of Lisa and Becky modelling together for Betsy’s designs, she feels betrayed and storms out of the Halloween party. Becky seizes the moment, playing their old wedding song and reminding Lisa of the vows they once made. Her words come from the heart; but will Lisa listen, or walk away again?

Haunted by Naomi’s voice in her head, she reaches breaking point until Maggie Driscoll intervenes.

Maggie urges Asha to talk about her suicide attempt and the pressures of her job as a paramedic. She reminds her that she’s shown compassion to others and deserves the same from herself. Maggie’s gentle words finally reach Asha, perhaps marking the start of her healing journey.

Trouble brews for the Websters as Kevin uncovers Carl’s role in the dodgy MOT scheme. The discovery sparks another heated showdown between the brothers, with Eva throwing Kevin out of the Rovers to stop the chaos. But Carl’s luck runs out when Ben later boots him out for good.

Later, James Bailey offers Carl some comfort, reminding him he still cares despite recent mistakes. However, when Debbie walks in and overhears part of their exchange, Carl quickly turns manipulative, using Debbie’s dementia to his advantage by claiming her condition is worsening, leaving Kevin unsure what to believe.
