Next week’s Coronation Street spoilers from the 3rd to the 7th of February 2025 confirm that the residents of Weatherfield are about to face some major revelations and twists. In the upcoming week, a number of events will unfold, and dangers for a family will intensify. Here’s everything you need to know for next week’s episodes.
Abi’s Past Trauma Resurfaces
Abi is about to confront her nightmares again when she comes across Toyah Habeeb, and things soon worsen. Abi is already pissed at her since she came to know that Toyah reported her to social service. But things take a negative turn when they meet at a Bistro party.
Toyah follows the kids in the Platt house, and Abi follows her—only to start an argument. The argument soon intensifies, and Toyah accidentally spills the wine, which triggers Seb’s memories and brings Abi down with a panic attack. Later, Abi lashes out at Toyah and smacks Toyah on the head.
Fire Breaks Out At the Platts
At the centre of next week’s spoilers is the fire that consumes the Platt house and puts several lives at risk. David Platt is already scheming with his old prison mate Andy, while Sarah fears the house party might make them an easy target.
Later, when Logan Radcliffe hears David’s plans, the situation worsens. Soon after, someone pushes a lit rag through the letterbox, and Sally raises an alarm before the alarm breaks.
It happens faster than expected—and there’s chaos all around. As Shona and Max rush inside looking for Lily, Nick goes in to look for Toyah and sees her lying on the floor. Just as Shona confirms Lily’s safety, the house explodes with Max already in it.
Later, as emergency services arrive, David sees them pulling out an unconscious Max—while Kit Green confirms that the fire was the result of arson. Though no confirmations have come in, Leanne Battersby and Abi Webster are on the suspect list.
David Is Arrested
David’s desperate efforts to shift the blame for the house fire fail, as his alibi doesn’t work. During the questioning, David said that he was with Andy at the time of the fire, but Andy clearly denied this, resulting in an arrest. Things will worsen for David as Sarah and Nick uncover Andy’s shady past and suspect David may have used him in an insurance scam earlier.
Elsewhere, Leanne finds herself under the spotlight when she discovers a box of matches in her pocket—but can’t recall how it got here. Similarly, Kevin suspects Abi after noticing a missing jerry can from the garage and hearing about erratic behaviour. However, who the true arsonist is remains a mystery.
Steve Keeps a Secret
Steve’s behaviour will surely raise some eyebrows—but what is he hiding? While Tracy worries about Amy’s whereabouts after the party, Steve claims he had an early night. However, his guilt suggests that he’s probably hiding something major. Later, Leanne tries to involve him in her boozy plans but is ultimately unsuccessful in her plans.
Carla Brings News to Rob
Carla will visit her imprisoned brother, Rob Donovan, as she delivers critical news regarding her kidney transplant. She is there to inform Rob that the testing will take place in the prison to determine if he will be a suitable donor for her. Rob, who seemed quite annoyed, assumed he’d be taken to the hospital, which fueled our speculation regarding his real motives.
As the Platt family fire leaves the lives of many hanging—we can’t help but speculate who’s safe and who isn’t. We will have to wait for the upcoming Coronation Street spoilers to spill out the truth. Until then, stay tuned to Soap Opera Daily for more soap updates.
