Kit Goes Against The Law To Save His Step Sister
Next week, viewers might see the new arrival Kit Green’s softer side as he defies the law to help his step-sister, Gemma Winter-Brown. Previously, Kit entered Weatherfield as Bernie Winter’s secret son. It all started when Kit, the police officer, was investigating Lauren Bolton’s disappearance.
However, he ended up arresting Bernie for being drunk. Later, after digging into Bernie’s past, Kit uncovered that she is his biological mother. However, his step-siblings Gemma and Paul are still unaware he’s their brother. But it looks like the truth is about to be exposed.

In the forthcoming week, Gemma gets herself into trouble. She goes into a store to buy shoes for her daughter, Carys. However, the prices of the shoes shock her. As a result, she decides to steal them due to financial strain. Later, during dinner, Gemma runs into someone from the shop.
Consequently, she gets arrested by the police. Bernie is beyond shocked and turns to her secret policeman son. Since his arrival, he has helped other villagers, too. One of them is Sarah Platt! He caught Sarah trying to plant evidence in Nathan’s van. However, he chose to let it slide.
