Martin Platt Returns To Cobbles?
It’s confirmed that Helen Worth (Gail Platt ) will leave the cobbles as soon. Her exit plot will hit our screens by the end of this year. Moreover, her final storyline promises to be dramatic as it features the return of the iconic Martin Platt. Sean Wilson.
Let us tell you that the actor has played Martin since 1985 and has been involved in many amazing storylines. Previously, Martin fell for Gail, and they got married. They even had a son, David Platt, before splitting up in 2000. His character was known for his many affairs, including a scandalous relationship with his 16-year-old neighbour, Katy.
After decades on the show, Martin left Weatherfield in 2005 but made a brief return in 2018. Actor Paddy Bever, who portrays Max Turner on the ITV soap, mentioned that he eagerly anticipates working with Sean. Although he hasn’t met Sean yet, he has heard many positive things about him.
Paddy also confirmed that Gail’s departure is planned to be a happy ending for her character, though he admitted he couldn’t reveal much more.
