The latest Coronation Street spoilers suggest a knife crime scene for one of its major characters. After Joel’s murder plot, this is giving us chills down the spine—whose role is going to come to an end? Is it a clash between Kit and David again? Mason Took Up a War Against His Brothers
It seems like Mason Radcliffe will be the victim after all. It turns out that he will soon fight for his life as one of his brothers, Matty or Logan, is going to stab him. As we already know, Mason has been trying to help Lisa investigate Becky’s death. He even took Dylan’s help to search Matty and Logan’s flat, where he found a WWII helmet. Suspecting it to be a link to the crime scene, he handed it to Lisa.
However, Mason fears that his brothers might fight back soon, and he eventually decides to escape Weatherfield. However, before he leaves, he wants to set things straight with Betsy and Liam. While he tries to convince Betsy that he is not involved in Becky’s death, he apologizes to Liam for bullying him earlier this year.
Later, when Matty and Logan come out after the police question them about the helmet, they go straight to find Dylan and Mason for revenge. Shortly after, Abi Webster finds Mason bleeding around the children’s play area. When the ambulance arrives, Dylan puts evident blame on Matty and Logan. Though Abi and Betsy both reassure Mason of survival, we have our doubts.
Besides, Coronation Street producer Kate Brooks commented on the storyline, saying it’s really important how we tackle it. The show makers have worked closely with the Ben Kinsella Foundation to ensure the story’s details are set right and hit hard.
