Leanne’s Betrayal Comes to Light
Leanne has kicked off a revenge plan against her sister but she can no longer hold back the fury towards them. When she got to know about Nick and Toyah, Leanne broke into pieces.
But that Leanne is long gone, and now, they will have to face her wrath. Her wrath doubles up when she gets to know that they have rekindled their relationship once again – but kept it a secret from everyone.
Leanne Starts on Her Revenge Plan
In Les’s latest funeral scenes, Leanne acts disappointed so that Nick can console her in front of Toyah. When Nick goes ahead and gives her a comforting hug, Toyah becomes jealous.
But back from Leanne, she again insists Toyah “be smart about it” and go on a secret vacation during the Christmas break so that Leanne doesn’t find out. I mean – what do you even want, Nick? But one can only hide so much – and once Leanne finds out that Nick’s holiday dates are aligning with Toyah’s, her anger only doubles up.
Leanne Frames Toyah
Leanne will now avenge her ex and her sister for her heartbreak. She goes ahead and traps Toyah in a fraud scheme. She replaced Toyah’s passport and opened a new account in her sister’s name at the Miller & Wise Bank. Then, from the bistro’s account, she transferred £1,700 to the new account.
Kate Brooks also commented that there’s a lot more to see in Leanne’s plot and by Christmas, we will be seeing the peak of it. Brooks said, “Leanne has had a very tough year. She’s had The Institute, which was all-consuming in many ways, but she’s a Battersby, and she’s scrappy, and she’s feisty. Toyah is so good and so brilliant and wonderful, and Leanne sees the life that she had just been taken away from her.
Rather than go down the route which is expected of her taking it on the chin or moving on, Leanne really wants to make them pay, and she is really intent on getting her own revenge.” It will be really interesting to see how the upcoming Coronation Street spoilers shape up Leanne’s revenge plot.
