Coronation Street: Mick Asks for Money, But Debbie Says No
Coronation Street spoilers suggest that Debbie has trouble in the future as she begins to experience the first hints of memory loss. She gets a call from the hotel regarding an electrical fault, but Mick Michaelis has more on his mind. He insists that Debbie pay him for work he supposedly did.
Debbie pays half the money but won’t pay the rest, claiming that Mick didn’t really do anything. Mick is angry, and Ronnie fears that Debbie has made a mistake in provoking him. It comes to a head next Tuesday when Mick comes back with an invoice for the other £150. Debbie refuses point-blank. Shortly afterward, she discovers she has lost her purse, and her first thought is to blame Mick. Ronnie goes to confront him, but is Debbie justified in blaming Mick, or is there another story here?
Debbie’s declining memory will result in a dementia diagnosis and her ultimate departure from the soap.
