As per the latest Coronation Street spoilers, Nick and Toyah’s plan to take Leanne down seems to have failed badly. We already know how Toyah and Nick were finally able to connect the dots and figure out Leanne’s foul plan to frame her sister. Leanne wants revenge on Toyah because the latter is still containing her affair with Nick. She not only planned to ruin her relationship with Nick but also framed Toyah in a Bistro finance fraud case by creating a fake account in her name.
But when the police interrogated Toyah and told her the password of her fake account, it didn’t take long for her to figure out it was Leanne. When she told Nick about this, he was initially faking it with Leanne and seemed to be on her side. He even shooed Toyah out of the Bistro in front of Leanne just to gain her trust. But soon, we see the two making up and declaring war against Leanne. However, they don’t know that Leanne is way ahead of them – and this time, she will take down both of them.
Leanne Gets a Clue
In the last episode, we see Leanne spotting a clue that makes her suspect Nick’s true intentions. She somehow sees that he has wrapped a Christmas gift for Toyah. Next, we see Leanne planting a webcam in Nick’s flat and watching Toyah and Nick’s romantic encounter upfront. It’s then when she finally gets that now, Toyah and Nick are trying to turn the tables and plot against her. As we know, Leanne soon starts to scheme against them.
Later, we see her heading to the police station to PC Craig Tinker with a pile of presents that Nick got for Toyah. Once she showed the presents, she pointed out that even though Nick says he has cut Toyah out of his life, he is now buying her presents. She claims that it’s not only Toyah defrauding the Bistro but Nick as well. As Nick has to justify his expenses on these gifts now, we doubt whether they can outplay Leanne anymore.
