Shona Lies to David
It’s been quite a while since the spoilers have been teasing a cheating plot for Shona and David. Now, it seems like the time has arrived. This month, just before Christmas, we see Shona lying and cheating on her husband.
After meeting Clayton in prison and learning about David’s deception by blocking her contact with her son, she is furious. As a result, she doesn’t go back home from the cobbles and spends a mysterious night out.
When David asked, she said that Adam Barlow found her drunk and took her to his flat for recovery. While he got angry, Shona had to reaffirm that Adam had slept on the couch. But on the other hand, we see Shona confiding in Roy Cropper that she has done something she regrets – and even took her morning-after pill following her night away from home. What’s she hiding?
Adam Helps Shona
Even though Shona tells David that she was with Adam Barlow, it turns out – he was only covering up for her. By the time she met Adam last night, she had already cheated on David with a mystery man.
While Shona thanked Adam, he warned her, saying: “About what? I don’t know what you did. Scratch that – I don’t know who you did. It’s about the only thing you didn’t tell me last night, Shona. From my – unfortunately comprehensive – experience, these kinds of secrets always come out.”
Mystery Man Revealed
After chatting with Adam, when Shona leaves The Rovers, she crosses her path with Kit Green, and through their expressions, the secret is revealed to us. We see Kit asking Shona whether they should chat about what happened last night, but Shona begs him to keep quiet and pretend it never happened.
