Callard Explains How The Diagnosis Arrived During Fair City Filming

Beverley Callard revealed that she has been diagnosed with breast cancer. And it happened just before one of the first Fair City scenes. The actor said a consultant called when the team was getting ready for the shoot. However, Callum was focused on settling into the new job. But she soon received instructions to return to the UK immediately.

Later, the consultant confirmed the breast cancer at that moment. The actor said that she felt overwhelmed in the first few days. Moreover, the treatment will also begin with further tests in the UK. It will be to check the lymph nodes and glands.
