In a shocking new update, Charlotte Jordan has now become the latest member to quit Coronation Street. The beloved star is leaving after portraying Daisy Midgeley for four years. She said that, ‘she wants to ‘explore other opportunities.’ While speaking to The Mirror about her exit, the popular soap star mentioned that she’ll always cherish her time on the ITV soap and how she is looking forward to starting a new chapter.
Furthermore, she added, “It’s been a privilege to be part of a wonderful institution with even more wonderful colleagues who have taught me so much.” Long-time viewers know that Jordan made her debut on the soap back in 2020. And she was introduced as Jenny Connor’s stepdaughter. The extraordinary actress also won a British Soap Award for Best Dramatic Performance after being a part of the wedding day acid attack storyline.
As for Jordan’s current stint on Corrie, her character is currently in the midst of a pregnancy storyline where she’s unsure if the baby daddy is Kit Green or Daniel Osbourne.
