Bethany Platt and Daisy Midgley aren’t really best friends forever on Coronation Street. Especially when you add their mutual fondness for Daniel Osbourne to the mix. However, actress Lucy Fallon, who plays Bethany, claims that her bond with the Daisy actress is a far cry from their on-screen situation.
Fans were pleasantly surprised when actresses Lucy Fallon and Charlotte Jordan shared pictures of their coffee date on their social media accounts. The snapshots feature the stunning beauties having a gala time at the outdoor seating area of a local cafe, enjoying a sunny weekend afternoon.
“This and yap ☕️💋,” Lucy Fallon wrote in the caption of her Instagram post. “Raise your hand if you can chat pure nonsense for hours,” Charlotte quickly responded in the comments section. Another one of their castmates, Sally Carman-Duttine (popularly known as Abi Webster on Coronation Street, also commented on the post, “Too much 😭😍💛.”
Currently, on Corrie, Bethany’s life has changed for the worse, seemingly forever. The unthinkable happened to her after she gave in to her insecurities an opted for an ill-advised cosmetic surgery in Turkey. The procedure went horribly wrong and left her with a permanent stoma bag.
In recent episodes, Bethany broke up with Daniel, saying that her life has changed forever, and it would be impossible for them to maintain their relationship any further. She already felt as though Daniel was gravitating back toward his former lover- Daisy Midgely. Especially ever since Bethany saw them sharing a hug on the streets.
But is this really true? As of now, Daniel does not feel inclined towards leaving Bethany for Daisy. In fact, he is visibly heartbroken over Bethany’s decision to end their relationship.
