“We had a bit of a do,” Coronation Street star Jack P Shepherd recently told the the media about his fiancée. The actor famous for playing David Platt on the ITV sudser is not too far away from walking down the aisle with his fiancée Hanni Treweek. And it seems the pressure of their upcoming wedding is starting to get to them. The couple has had their first official tiff in regards to their wedding preparations.
Jack P Shepherd had announced his and Hanni’s engagement last year, and are now very close to their wedding date. Recently, David appeared on the On the Sofa podcast, where he spoke about his upcoming wedding. There, the actor revealed that he and Hanni recently had their first disagreement while planning their big day. He revealed that before this particular argument they had been agreeing on everything.
He revealed that the argument happened when he expressed his desire to get matching outfits for his nephews and nieces. However, he was unaware that the bride and groom were expected to pay for the clothing. “I didn’t know that, as the bride and groom, you have to pay for all their suits and costumes.” He also revealed that it is a bad idea to rent outfits for the children because they just end up ruining them
The Corrie star revealed that the costs would mount up high because his brother has four kids, and so does his sister. Meanwhile, he has two of his own. Thus, the total goes up to 10 kids! Jack pointed out that when Hanni stated that they would have to pay for the children’s outfits, he refused. He even went on to the family Whatsapp group and informed his family that he wouldn’t be paying for the clothes. Thankfully, his family was supportive and decided that everyone would pay for their own children’s clothes.
“We had a bit of a do but we’ve sorted it out. It’s the first disagreement,” the actor revealed. She wanted to pay, but he refused because there were just too many children. But hey, if the bride, groom, and the whole family is okay with the final decision, then it’s all good! We wish Jack and Hanni all the best for their upcoming wedding!
