For the longest time, Coronation Street star, Katie McGlynn had been denying chatter about getting engaged. Even when the papz papped her with a sparkling ring on her finger, she maintained her stance of not being engaged. However, things seem to be changing on that front now! Katie was recently spotted with Ricky dressed to their nines, and they appeared pretty close.
They happily posed for pictures ahead of the 23rd Denise Welch Gem Appeal Ball, held at the Kimpton Clocktower Hotel. The Coronation Street actress even locked lips with her boyfriend as the photographers snapped their shots. We must admit, they look absolutely stunning together. The annual event that raises money for the Royal Manchester Children’s Hospital was recently held.
However, Katie McGlynn could not attend the event due to taking ill. Although, in the pictures that are going viral on the internet, Katie can be seen dressed in a stunning red gown, looking an absolute dream. Meanwhile, Ricky opted for a checked suit and classic smart black shoes, with a darker red tie and a handkerchief placed in his top left jacket pocket.
It was back in February 2024 that rumors first started surfacing about the couple being together. Some sources even suggested that Katie and Ricky would soon walk down the aisle. The rumors were further fueled when Katie was spotted with a sparkling new ring on her finger. However, she denied the speculations. But it seems there was some truth in the tale.
Am Engagement On The Cards?
Katie and Ricky are clearly not being shy about their relationship anymore! Sources claim that the duo first met in October 2023, and have been inseparable ever since. However, her spokesperson denied the claims. They even rejected the ring theory, and said that Katie loves wearing various rings and jewellery. Although they did admit that Katie and Ricky are happy together.
