You know when things on Coronation Street start getting too quiet, it usually means chaos is right around the corner. And sure enough, something big is brewing. A major stunt is being filmed, and from what I’ve seen and read, it’s not looking good for one of our long-standing characters. All signs point to Fiz being in danger, and to be honest, the way this is shaping up, I’m not convinced everyone’s walking away from it without the fair share of drama.
Dylan and Brody’s Mess Is Spilling Over Again
Now, if you’ve been following Dylan and Brody’s storyline, you’ll know this mess didn’t start yesterday. They first met in the Secure Training Centre and straight away, it was obvious Brody wasn’t going to be a great influence. Dylan, who used to seem a bit quieter and more unsure of himself, got dragged into all kinds of drama.
But lately, we’ve seen a bit of a shift in him. He’s stood up to Brody, basically saying he won’t be pushed around anymore. Still, I can’t help but think this new edge in Dylan is heading somewhere a bit dark. Like, is he finally taking control, or just getting pulled into something even worse?
And just when we thought the tension between them couldn’t get any worse, we find out Brody’s real dad is actually Kit Green. Up until now, Brody thought Mick Michaelis was his dad, and finding out that’s not the case, can be huge given that he is already on the edge.
Though Lou told Kit to keep his distance, of course he didn’t. Instead, he ordered a DNA test but was really hesitant to open the results right away. It was Bernie Winter who convinced him to do it, and then, went and told Brody during a full-on argument with Kit. Honestly, I know Bernie means well most of the time, but she really doesn’t know the definition of “subtle.” And now, it looks like it’s about to get worse.
A Car Stunt Brings Fiz Into the Picture in Coronation Street
As Brody is already on the edge, and Dylan is heading straight to the dark, a new storyline is in process. Some pictures have come in from the set and it .
To begin with, I see Brody and Dylan in a Porsche. I know, very surprising! No clue how they got their hands on it. But right in front of them is Fiz walking down the road. The moment comes when Fiz takes a turn to look behind and talk to George. I bet things aren’t going to be the same anymore once she turns back. So much can happen in a split second!
The question now is whether Fiz is just unlucky, or if she’s been dragged into something more dangerous because of what’s going on between these two.
Personally, I don’t think this is random. Coronation Street rarely pulls out a stunt just for shock value. With all this anger piling up, it wouldn’t surprise me if this moment is a direct result of what’s been going on between them.
But I just can’t stop thinking about George. He was talking to Fiz when the car came hurtling toward her. So, if she ends up hurt, the guilt could hit him hard. Especially now that Eileen’s gone off to Thailand with Jason, George is already a bit isolated. As a loyal viewer, I can speculate that there’ll be plenty more twists to come.
