Sue Cleaver Talks About Mistakes Made In Teenage Years
Sue Cleaver, who plays the character of Eilleen Grimshaw on Coronation street has recently opened up about how she got pregnant by a man who was twice her age. Eileen who is now 61 is all set to her memoir- A Work In Progress. Ahead of its release, Eileen Grimshaw talks about how she would have one night stands and wasn’t right for her.
Talking about it, Cleaver says that she was looking for love and validation in all the wrong places. The actress explained that when she was 16 years old, she ran off with a sailor and lived with him. At 17, she found herself pregnant with a guy who was 35 years old.
Looking back at it, she says that he was older and took advantage of her. Now, she wishes that she had known better. But not just her, the men should have known better. After all, she was a young girl, just in the wrong places.
Previously, Sue was married to actor James Quinn. Their marriage ended after ten years. The two of them met in 1991 and soon got married. James has also been a part of Coronation Street among other soap operas. Now, Sue is married to Brian Owen, who is a lighting technicians for ITV.
The two of them are quite happy together and we can’t wait to see Sue return to the soap soon. Right now, she is on a break but the clock is ticking and she is going to be back, very soon.
