Life behind bars in Coronation Street has not been easy for Dylan Wilson since he ended up in prison in the wake of Mason Radcliffe‘s death. Although he seemed to have found a friend in fellow prisoner Brody, the relationship has rapidly soured between the duo. Fans have seen tensions escalate over the past few episodes, and things are about to get seriously out of hand.
While Dylan struggles to stay alive in the sea of threats within the prison walls, his father, Sean, is pulled into a dangerous scheme that might land both of them in further jeopardy.
Dylan Trapped in Brody’s Threat Web
Ever since Dylan’s imprisonment, Brody has attached himself to him, employing charm and coercion to exploit his vulnerability. Daniel Osbourne, a prison teacher, attempted to advise Dylan that Brody could not be trusted, but the young prisoner dismissed the warnings. The next thing that happened was that Brody revealed his true nature by requiring Sean, Dylan’s dad, to bring a burner phone to the prison.
Alarmed by the idea, Sean went to Daniel for counsel. Daniel assured Sean of his worst fears-that Brody was a repeat offender and that messing with him was not a good idea. Sean resisted at first and informed Dylan he was going to report Brody. While Dylan begged him to avoid aggravating the situation, he could not convince his dad to smuggle the phone.
Coronation Street: A Desperate Move
That choice had its repercussions. Brody and his crew took revenge by destroying Dylan’s prison cell and threatening that worse would happen. Being noticeably rattled, Sean resolved to take matters into his own hands and left the phone in Daniel’s backpack.
After implementing the plan, Sean called Dylan to inform him precisely where the phone would be. But when Dylan went to pick it up, Daniel caught him in the act. With the plan going awry halfway, Dylan might be left an even greater target of Brody’s anger. Will he be able to get out of danger? Only the upcoming Coronation Street spoilers can reveal.
