Sam Blakeman has already gone through a lot for someone his age in Coronation Street. Fans thought that exposing Megan Walsh would finally give him some peace. But instead of things getting better, Sam’s condition is about to take a worrying turn. His mental health begins to slip, and the people around him start to fear the worst.
Sam’s Truth Comes Out But Nothing Really Changes In Coronation Street
Sam was the only one who saw Megan for who she really was. While everyone else in Weatherfield believed she was a kind and cheerful athletics coach, Sam knew she was grooming Will Driscoll into an inappropriate relationship. He tried to speak up, but Megan made things harder for him at every step.
She even went as far as ruining his school performance. This pushed Sam into taking unprescribed Ritalin, hoping it would help him do better.
Instead, his health got worse, and he eventually collapsed on the street. At the hospital, he finally told Leanne and Eva everything that had been happening.
For a moment, it seemed like the truth would finally win. Ben and Maggie believed Sam and turned against Megan. But Megan managed to escape again. She convinced Will to tell the police that it was just a one sided crush. With no solid proof and Megan refusing a DNA test despite being pregnant, there was nothing the police could do.
Sam Finds It Hard To Relate To Things
Even though Megan has been forced to leave for now, Sam cannot forget what happened. The stress and fear are still with him. To make things worse, Will is still under Megan’s influence and even feels angry at his family for keeping him away from her.
Things get tense when Will approaches Sam in the bistro and says sorry. Sam shakes his hand, but he clearly does not trust him. Toyah later tries to help Sam move on and stop thinking about Megan and Will, but it is not that easy for him.
At the swings, Sam tells Hope that he has been reading about grooming cases. It shows how deeply this has affected him. When Will shows up, Hope makes sharp comments about his older girlfriend, which only adds to the tension.
Later, Sam confronts Will in Victoria Gardens and tells him that his attempts to scare him will not work anymore. Will denies everything in front of Liam, acting like he has done nothing wrong. At home, Will tells Eva and Maggie that Sam is making false accusations. Eva gets angry and goes straight to the Bistro, where she confronts Nick, Toyah, and Leanne for what Sam has been saying.
Things take a serious turn when Sam says he has seen Megan and Will together at the precinct. He rushes to tell his family, but when they check, Will claims he has been at the pub the whole time. This leaves Sam confused and upset.
Then something even more worrying happens. As Sam leaves the corner shop, he thinks he sees Will again. This time, he hears him clearly, calling him a loser and saying that nobody cares if he lives or dies.
The big question now is whether this is really happening or if Sam is starting to imagine things. After everything he has gone through, it seems like the emotional damage is finally catching up with him. Stay tuned to Soap Opera Daily for more Coronation Street spoilers.
