Coronation Street is never short of drama, but next week things take a particularly chaotic turn. As one resident opens up about a terrifying moment, another hits the bottle hard, and long-simmering tensions reach breaking point—both emotionally and physically.
Liam Admits, and Gary Takes Action
When Mick sends Liam off to get bacon sandwiches, the teenager doesn’t come back. Gary and Maria worry and go looking for him at the café—where Liam confesses that Mick had locked him in the tool shed in the builder’s yard. Maria is appalled.
Defending Liam, Gary marches off to the yard. He locates Mick by the shed, locks him in, and terminates him there and then. It all goes pear-shaped when Mick ambushes Gary and sends him flying to the ground afterwards. As Gary takes up a bottle in self-defence, Kit intervenes and tells him to step away.
Kit Softens and Debbie Reaches Her Limit
As things settle down, Kit attempts to patch things up with Sarah. He apologizes for ignoring her and takes her out to dinner, in an effort to progress things.
At the same time, Debbie’s day takes a turn for the worse. Having hada soft drink at the Bistro, she moves on to vodka when Ronnie arrives. Her downward spiral continues as she stumbles into the bathroom drunk. Abi speeds dial Carl for assistance, and when he gets there, Debbie admits she has had some terrible news.
Coronation Street: Ketchup Chaos and Job Hints
Back at the café, Betsy confronts Lauren about how she treated Bobby. The argument soon gets out of hand—and ends with Roy drenched in ketchup after a flying squirt bottle mishap.
Later, Lauren informs Aadi that her son Frankie is finally out of hospital. Now, she’s ready to get a job and turn her life around. With Glenda warning Carla that the Rovers are short-staffed, might Lauren be taking up position behind the bar next?
